I’m happy with these. I’ve found a fantastic cushion maker. The colours and character of my designs go nicely with the texture of the fabric, and the cushions have both a reassuring quality and an informal feel, which is exactly what I go for when I design a product.

PREORDER:

I have just one of each cushion in stock. After that, I will be taking preorders. I do this to avoid producing more than I need to. I expect the cushions to be ready by December.

About the design:

My Sardinhas de Fato paintings were made for Ostras e Coisas, a seafood restaurant in Porto that was once a tailors shop.

I painted suited fish, lying inside tins. It brings together the Portugal’s tradition of sardines, and the history of the building where the tailors used to work, where delicious seafood is now prepared and enjoyed.
